Welcome to Family, Food, & Frolic!

This writing adventure started 10+ years ago as a blog, “Our Army Family,” written as a military wife giving advice to other mothers and wives. By 2011, despite also being a veteran, the military side of the blog dropped to become more encompassing to the topics of lifestyle, food, and travel, switching to “Family, Food, & Frolic.” After several successful years, I regrettably decided to give up the domain, as I knew that I did not have time to write. In 2017, I was able to get my domain back and started Family, Food, & Frolic 2.0. However, I still did not have the proper time to give my blog.

Welcome to 2020 and our blog’s relaunch!

Our blog has the same great general topics of lifestyle, food, and travel, but it also comes with a bit of a Disney twist. We are currently living in Central Florida as I (Janey) work on my second masters and Kristin works on her bachelors degree. In addition to our regular blog articles, follow us as we explore and see what Central Florida has to offer.

Here is what to expect from our blog:

Family: This is our more lifestyle section featuring life’s anecdotes (including- by request- more of our actual family), products, life tips, and really anything related to families… don’t worry- plenty to interest single people, too.

Food: Recipes, reviews, and trying new food. Our instagram is really food heavy. Follow it @familyfoodfrolic
