Festivities and Flatbread

Yes...right as I was getting my Ezine back up and running, we hit a time of transitions and new starts. This time around, I said that I would add a bunch more "me" into my writing. People seem to like the personal side. Well, the personal side caught up with me. However, it is great new starts. Beyond new starts, I am also touching base on Round Table's Flatbread Pizza, as everything comes better with food pics!

I was pretty open about the first new transition. We moved back to my hometown. Any time you move, it comes with crazy chaos. Well, our move was to a small town. Beyond the normal business of moving, we got here just in time for the fair weekend. Our lives turned into an instant whirlwind of activities and volunteering. We also enjoyed a great barbecue ribs contest, which means you can look forward to an article on ribs. Moving also gave me thinking time on the direction that I want to go with my Ezine.

The second milestone is that I am in full force restarting my photography business. In 2015, I decided to take a break from being my own boss to teach. Two years later, I realized that I gave up some of the things that I was most passionate about: my writing and photography. This time around, I am incorporating my experience in public affairs with my photography and web design. Beyond personal photography sessions, my new business has the umbrella of "Creative Consulting." We are providing an array of products for businesses including business photography, social media marketing, graphic design, web content, and production of marketing materials. While photography sessions are limited to Northern California, our business services are able to be done remotely for companies anywhere within the United States. This also comes as an apology to my Ezine readers as my writing took a temporary back seat to starting up my primary business. Check out JKJ Kreativity for all of your photo and creative needs.

The final and biggest milestone is that Miss Kreatively Kris graduated high school on Friday. We had a busy week getting ready for graduation. My original thought was that I would be ready for new starts on Saturday. Instead, it ended up being a bonding weekend with Kristin. It's funny...our kids spend their teen years thinking that they are ready to be adults, so quick to grow up. I have been blessed to have a wonderful child, who still considers her mom to be one of her best friends. As happy as the was to hit that milestone of high school graduation, it also came with the wake up call that she was now entering adulthood. After she came home from her school's "Sober Grad" party, she curled up in my room realizing that wanted a little more time as a mommy's little girl.

Now, where does that flatbread pizza come in? Well, it was a lazy weekend...that also came with lack of sleep. The shocking news, I wasn't in the mood to cook. So, we ordered flatbread pizzas from Round Table Pizza...literally, the only place that delivers in our small town. This isn't a full review, but more like a light recommendation and tossing out some food pics. We've eaten Round Table's Flatbreads before. We have never been disappointed. They are covered in nice fresh toppings with a crispy thin flatbread crust.

Our usual Roasted Vegetable and Mozzarella flatbread. Nope, we aren't vegetarians, but the fresh veggies give it a nice light taste. This time, it was fully Kristin's and her one wish was for it to have artichokes. Unfortunately, we ordered online a…

Our usual Roasted Vegetable and Mozzarella flatbread. Nope, we aren't vegetarians, but the fresh veggies give it a nice light taste. This time, it was fully Kristin's and her one wish was for it to have artichokes. Unfortunately, we ordered online and there wasn't an option to add ingredients to the flatbreads. Hmmm...maybe I will have to create a version at home that includes artichokes and eggplant.

This time, I went for an Island Flatbread...well, dinner and lunch for me. I enjoyed the nice sweet combination of the pineapple with the chicken, bacon, and peppers.

This time, "Just Jay" got into the flatbread game with a pepperoni flatbread. Normally, we end up ordering her a personalized pizza as she's not usually into the more gourmet flavors of pizza that Kreatively Kris and I enjoy. However, she's growing up and eating more; so, we decided to upgrade her to a flatbread...which is actually a better deal for your money. I guess both of my girls are growing up lately.

So, no- this is not my usual style of article. However, it is my way of saying that I am back. The break is over and we are ready to roll for both the Ezine and the new business. Thank you for everyone that is here from the start and following us on this journey.
